Harold (Hal) F. Bartz   '45

Harold (Hal) Bartz -- graduated SHS June 1945, spent 3 years in the Army Signal Corps, attended Cornell University for a while. Met my wife, Betsy, there. Married September 1956. Moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado, where Betsy got her MS and I finished my BSEE at Colorado State University.

Retired after 30 years as an Information Developer (Tech Writing, etc.) at IBM Owego, NY. Live on 120 acres near Newark Valley, NY, where we have 4 horses and miscellaneous other creatures. Four grandchildren who live too near and keep us busy.

Betsy does a lot of desktop publishing. I do mostly volunteer work--senior warden at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Owego, NY, and with the Southern Tier AIDS Project (STAP), where I help persons living with AIDS who have little other support.

I also do audio recordings of various local amateur and school musical groups. We can be reached at
